Actually, AJESH is engaged in the conservation of the Yabassi Rainforest KBA, located in the Nkam division.

Using participatory tools, AJESH involves community in the protection on conservation of the KBA. This helps to reduce risks of species extinctions and helps to ameliorate communities livelihood conditions. The protection of KBAs constitute a main objective of AJESH, following the Sustainable devlopment goals (SDGs).
